When did you first DJ? Back in 1984
What made you want to be a DJ? Following my idol, Dj
Froggy...He was always in the mix and had a real energy about
his sound that no other dj had. Also listening to Shep Pettibone
mix tapes from New York and mixing up his tapes on my Sharp 555.
Will you always be a DJ do you think? In some capacity,
yes i think so
What is your most memorable performance of your DJ career?
Possibly Djing at Wembley Stadium in my Hip Hop days in
front of 80.000 people. I was never nervous again in front of
a crowd from that day also my Soundshaft residency at Heaven
in London, that was always a trip.
Do you play CDs as well as vinyl? Most definately
In your opinion who is the best DJ of all time? Me...No
seriously me. Ok i'd have to say the dj's that touch me most were Froggy,
David Morales and Little Louie Vega. My current
favorite is Derrick Carter.
Who in your opinion are the Bay Area's Top Five DJs? Jeno,
David Harness, Q-bert, Miguel Migs, Andy
